Noah gives gift of hair
A Taupo¯ schoolboy is proving that everyone can choose to do something that makes the world a better place. In the case of Noah Martin, 11, it was growing his hair to donate for wigs for children with cancer. Noah first got the idea of growing and donating his hair from a book, 101 Ways to Change the World. The Hilltop School student spent three years growing his hair to waist length in anticipation of the haircut, which took place a fortnight ago. Now he has six ponytails to donate, and has raised $1672 (and counting) for the Child Cancer Foundation. , His fundraising page is still active and accepting donations at: childcancer-fundraising.org.nz/noahmartin.
